Aim of the Guild

The aim of the Guild is to promote and encourage the art of spinning, weaving and dyeing. Members are of all standards, from beginners to professional teachers. The Guild aims to cater for everyone, with a varied programme of lectures, demonstrations and workshops.

Public exhibitions are held periodically for members to exhibit their work and to demonstrate their skills.

The Avon Guild is affiliated to the Association of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.
